Dinner eaten, bill paid, time to go....getting ready...Sherm, Mike, Dutch, RG and Flyin' Willy. The guy in the green Harley shirt was somebody who followed us out of the restaurant to look at the bikes.
I admit it, I was the one who told the waitress that it was Sherm's birthday. Okay, so we were only 3 months early. The Birthday Boy got a serenade, got to wear a sombrero, and was served a rich, chocolatey dessert that he passed around the table.
Earlier in the week, Pepper Jack met Mike and Suzanne at an intersection, told them about VROC, and within a few days they had joined up and were at dinner with us! It was wonderful to meet them and I hope we didnt scare them off..sorry I cut half your face off here Suzanne.
Digging in to those chips and Salsa! C2, Maryanne, Flyin' Willy, Pepper Jack, Daniel, Mike, Dave, Dutch and RG.
Daniel made it all the way down from Sedro-Wooley. It was great to see him, too. He had Sherm had plenty to talk about.
Glad Dave could join us for dinner. He hadn't been around for awhile....heard he went to Thailand for 3 years.
Pepper Jack and his wife....she arrived as Mary and left as "Pepper Jill" ..courtesy of Flyin' Willy.
Dutch and RocketGirl. RG may have to change that nickname to CruiserGirl now that she bought herself a Vulcan!
September 27, Azteca Restaurant, Southcenter. Sherm was in town again, this time on his bike, "Rambler"...and the weather was fabulous. Good excuses to get together, if any excuse was needed!

Time to leave...Dutch and Grumpa looking at Grumpa's bike.. Grumpa won a new horn at HSVROC which he demonstrated for us..sounds like a semi truck!
Group shot... Dutch, Grumpa, Rubbergator, Sherm and Garth.. Flyin' Willy, Pepper Jack, Bear, Mac Guy and Marianne.
Eagle arrived after work, a little late, but not too late for a margarita! Flyin' Willy looks concerned about the size of that drink..
Here's what Sherm had.. "The Big 'Un"...pulled pork sandwich served with cole slaw..

Flyin' Willy and Pepper Jack enjoying their food. Flyin' Willy came straight from the airport...he had been down in New Mexico.
Dutch was feeling well enough after his shoulder surgery to join us for dinner. It was nice, as always, to see Grumpa, too.
